About Scott:
  • Scott got his start in radio at the young age of 14 working for KDAK-1600AM in his hometown of Carrington, N.D. (pop. 2,300)
After High School, he was one of the first students ever recruited to attend Meyer School of Broadcasting.
Scott is an avid outdoorsman (former host of Central Dakota Outdoors and Iowa Outdoors Radio), accomplished singer/songwriter (7 1/2 years in Nashville), and truly enjoys what living in North Dakota has to offer.
His radio show, The Morning Train, was awarded The Citizen Soldier Medal from the North Dakota National Gaurd for his pulsating patriotism and ability to instill that into his listeners.
Scott was also the first radio announcer to ever win a National ADDY Award while working in a small market in Northern Iowa for his production work.
Now, many many lifetimes later, he resides and works in Dickinson, North Dakota surrounded by some of the best people he has ever worked with in his radio career, and you can quote him on that!
